Special Thanks go out to Ian Dean and Cagewarriors.com for the following article:

News has just come in from Cage Rage co-promoter Dave O'Donnell, confirming that James Zikic (12-4-2)

will take on the Frenchman Matthias Riccio (4-6-0).  Riccio has been in form as of late and beat Pierre

Guillet at UC X in June with an impressive GnP attack.  Whilst Zikic has fought in some pro boxing bouts

before coming back to MMA in July, by beating Gokin Saki by TKO at Cage Carnage.

Also 100% Confirmed is a Middleweight showdown between the rising star of Mark Weir's Range Fighting

gym (and Cagewarriors Middleweight Champion) Matt Ewin (13-2-1), as he takes on the infamous Damien

Riccio (5-5-0).  Ewin will be looking again to show why some say he is the best domestic level

middleweight, whilst Riccio will be looking to impress after his decision loss to fellow Frenchman Jean

Francois Lenogue at Cage Rage 7.

Also 100% confirmed is the Welterweight Clash between the Eddie Bravo trained Gerald "The Finishing

Machine" Strebendt (8-5-0) and the London Pancrase based Frenchman Jess Liaduin, in what should be

an interesting contest between 2 good submission fighters, who are both looking to get back to winning

ways.
