Tony Berg wins by first round submission (choke from mount) over Gary Mendoza - Not really a choke -

looked more to do with Bergs weight on Mendoza 

 

Fight 2 - 205 lb. Bout

Justin Garcia vs. Andy Murad - was skipped

 

Fight 3 - 175 lb. Bout

Jake Gomez wins by knockout (punches) at :15 of the first round over Michael Tetarra

 

Fight 4 - 145 lb. Bout

Manny Tapia wins by knockout at :07 of the first round over Michael Welty - Welty came out with a low

Thai kick and Tapia countered with a straight right that put Welty down and out

 

Fight 5 - 165 lb. Bout

J.R. Perea wins by submission (guillotine choke from the ground) at :57 of the first round over Harry Rodgers 

 

Fight 6 - 155 lb. Bout

Frankie Bohlinger wins by TKO at 1:40 of the first round over Billy Sanders - Ref stoppage from strikes

from the top but the crowd didn't agree

 

Fight 7 - 185 lb. Bout

Thomas Kenny wins a two round unanimous decision over George Perriera - With 10 second to go in the

second round, Kenny lands a right to the face of Perriera that sends him down - Kenny follows up with

strikes and slams Perriera from the mount (chest to chest) as the bell rings. Perriera looked exhausted.

 

Fight 8 - 200 lb. Bout

Tony Petarra wins by TKO (strikes from mount) at 1:30 of the first round over Ron Cushen 

 

Fight 9 - 175 lb. Bout

Joe Freeny wins by TKO at 3:19 of the first round over John DelaO - Ref stoppage from knees and

punches on the ground

 

Fight 10 - 195 lb. Bout

Joe Crilly wins by TKO at 1:26 of the first round over Paul Cid - Ref stoppage from strikes from the mount

 

Fight 11 - 115 lb. Bout

Dave Rivas wins a two round unanimous decision over Dave Hisquerdo - Our reporter on the ground says

is was a really good fight and that both fighters should be proud of their efforts

 

Fight 12 - 155 lb. Bout 

Richard Goodman wins by submission (guillotine choke) at 3:17 of the first round over Bobby Gamboa 

 

Fight 13 - 225 lb. Bout

Brian Sesma wins by submission at 1:16 of the first round over Raul Delgado - reverse arm bar from the

top (left arm)

 

Fight 14 - 195 lb. Bout (Dan Henderson was in Foster's corner)

Brian Foster wins by submission (rear naked choke) at 3:10 of the first round over Scott Sepulveda 

 

Fight 15 - 160 lb. Bout

Wander Braga wins a two round decision over Joe Camacho - Crowd didn't agree

 

Fight 16 - 185 lb. Bout

Mike Seal and Reggie Ore battled to a draw - crowd didn't like it (thought Ore won)

 

Fight 17 - 175 lb. Bout

Thomas Denny wins by submission (rear naked choke) at 1:33 of the first round over Tony Llamas (Llamas

late sub for Steve Renaud) 

 

Fight 18 - 170 lb. Title Bout 

Diego Sanchez wins a three round unanimous decision over George Santiago - With 10 seconds left in

the third round, Sanchez goes for an arm bar, moves up and tries for a triangle choke when the bell rings -

Sanchez becomes new welterweight champion 

 

Fight 19 - 155 lb. Bout

Charles "Krazy Horse" Bennett wins a two round unanimous decision over William Sriyapai 

Both come out - Krazy Horse has William up against the cage throwing punches, William is able to defend,

they go down, Krazy Horse is on top, in full mount but William has him leaning forward - William trying to

buck him off, Krazy Horse still on top - They stand them up - Time called (to fix Krazy Horse's glove) - They

start again - William circles, they both go down, Krazy Horse has the side mount - Krazy Horse lifts

William and slams him - Krazy Horse still in side mount - unable to do anything - Krazy Horse slams

William again (small slam) - Krazy Horse gets full mount again - Krazy horse delivers a couple of blows to

the face - William gets the guard - bell rings (Krazy horse helps William up) - Rampage Jackson coaching

2nd Rd - Krazy Horse taunts William - William tags Krazy Horse - William tries for a single leg - Krazy

Horse is in the full mount - Ref stands them up - Krazy Horse sweeps William with a low kick that sends

William down and Krazy Horse gets the side mount - Krazy Horse picks up William and slams William -

William goes for a guillotine but misses - Ref stands them up - Back down they go - Krazy Horse on top -

William reverses - William on top - William delivers a couple of rabbit punches to the side of the head - Ref

stands them up - The clinch against the cage - Krazy Horse delivers a knee - no damage - Back down they

go - William delivers a kick to Krazy Horse from the bottom - Krazy Horse on side mount - Bell rings

(William helps Krazy Horse up) - Goes to a decision - Krazy Horse does a back flip from top of

cage...Again!!
