Pancrase - PRIDE Bushido

Pancrase Korean Event (Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Hall - South Korea)

Pancrase made an announcement that current open weight King of Pancrase champion Josh Barnett will

defend his title on July 17th when he faces the # 4 ranked super heavyweight Tim Lajick at Pancrase's 

South Korean event. Also, there is a strong possibility that second ranked super heavyweight, Ron

Waterman, could face former Tae Kwon Do champion and recent Pancrase newcomer Hur Sung Jin on

the same card.

PRIDE Bushido

Sportsnavi is reporting that PRIDE has released some information regarding their next Bushido event to be

held on July 19th at the Nagoya Rainbow Hall in Nagoya, Japan. The event will feature the Brazilian Top

Team against Japan (3 vs. 3). Sportsnavi also reported that DSE President Nobuyuki Sakakibara

mentioned that Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, Paulo Filho, "Zen" Mario Sperry, and Murilo Bustamante

are all scheduled to participate on the Brazilian Top Team side.
