We traveled down to Baja California to watch Reto Maximo at the Baby Rock nightclub on Sunday night. The

place was packed with an enthusiastic crowd and a live band plus the ring girls \ dancers that had the crowd

mesmerized.

Everyone was having a great time when the announcement was made by the promoter Marco Perez that

due to injuries, there would only be three bouts on the card. And then the unexpected but welcomed

announcement that he would be refunding a healthy portion of the entrance admission drew an ovation from

the crowd. A very classy move that was much appreciated by everyone in attendance. Marco then made an

announcement that the next event will be on September 4th and promises to put on a great card which we

have no doubt that he will pull off. The crowd was then treated to three very good bouts (results) refereed by

none other Larry "The Landlord" Landless.

While we were there, we were very fortunate to have the opportunity to interview Dean Lister about his

upcoming plans (PRIDE) and about his fighters that were there to participate:

In the coming week, we'll be posting interviews that we did with Rumble on the Rock VI winner John Marsh,

Reto Maximo Super Fight winner Mike Seal, Mac Danzig, and many other of the great fighters that were

in attendance.

If this event is any indication on how the September 19th event will be, we can't wait to go.
