SOLJAH Fight Night Update (Shooto - Hawaii)

Updated 7/5/04 Here is an updated card for Shooto's event in Honolulu, Hawaii on July 9th. The night will feature three Shooto World Champions in action - Lightweight Champion Alexandre Franca Nogueria, Welterweight Champion Vitor "Shaolin" Ribeiro, and Light Heavyweight Champion Masanori Suda who'll be going up against the World # 1 ranked Dustin Denes. Also on the card, Rumina Sato will be taking on Bao Quach (10th ranked Pacific Rim) in lightweight action plus World # 1 ranked middleweight Jake Shields will be taking on the World # 2 ranked Ray Cooper for the vacant middleweight championship. And recent boxing winner and Shooto's World # 6 ranked lightweight Jens Pulver will go up against the World # 3 ranked Stephen Paling. During Shooto.net's live play by play on July 4th, it was announced that Shooto lightweight champion Alexandre Franca Nogueria will not be able to participate in this event due to Nogueria having trouble securing a visa.
