Super Lightweight Bout (8 Rds)

Omar Figueroa (13-0-1, 10 KOs) wins by TKO at 1:19 of the 2nd rd over Marcos Herrera (6-7-1, 2 KOs)

In the second round, Herrera downed into the ropes with a left hook (up at the count of four). After a slight

delay to get Herrera's mouthpiece back in, the bout resumed and Figueroa came in swinging - Herrera tried

to cover up and throw back but he got caught with a clean left hook that put him flat on his back - the ref

started the count, took a look at Herrera on his back and waved the fight over.

 

Lightweight Bout (8 Rds)

Frankie Gomez (11-0, 8 KOs) wins a majority decision over Adrian Granados (6-1-1, 4 KOs) - Judges

scored the bout 76-76, 78-73, 77-74 for Gomez. In the second round, Granados downed with a straight

right - up right away to end the round.

 

Welterweight Bout (4 Rds)

Luis Santiago (3-0, 1 KO) wins a unanimous decision over Clifford McPherson (2-5-1, 1 KO) - Judges

scored the bout 40-36, 40-36, 40-36 for Santiago.

 

Lightweight Bout (4 Rds)

Juan Bustamante (2-0, 1 KO) wins by KO at 1:40 of the first round over Andrew Kato (0-3)

In the first round, Kato downed from an accumulation of punches - up at the count of four. The fight resumed

and Bustamante came in swinging - landing a right to the body that sent Kato down in pain. Kato did

manage to get up but not before the ref reached the count of 10.

 

Welterweight Bout (4 Rds)

Daniel Sotelo (1-0, 1 KO) wins by KO at 1:20 of the first round over Ronnie Fuentez (0-2)

In the first round, Fuentez got nailed with a left to the body and went down in pain - Fuentez tried to get up

with the help of the ropes at the count of nine but never made it beyond a knee and was counted out.
