Super Featherweight Bout (8 Rds)

Gary Russell Jr. (16-0, 10 KOs) wins by TKO at 2:42 of the 4th round over Antonio Meza (24-10-1, 16 KOs)

In the third round, Meza got hit with two consecutive combos and in trying to counter, threw a right that put

him off balance (moving forward) just as Russell threw a left that connected behind his head (around the

shoulder area) and sent Meza down briefly - ref counted it as a knock down. In the fourth round, Meza

downed with a left (up at the count of eight). The fight resumed and Russell quickly came in and landed a

barrage of punches to put Meza down and the ref quickly jumped in and stopped the bout.

 

Lightweight Bout (8 Rds)

Omar Figueroa (12-0-1, 9 KOs) wins a unanimous decision over Eric Cruz (11-7-3, 11 KOs) - Judges

scored the bout 79-73, 78-74, 78-74 for Figueroa.

 

Featherweight Bout (4 Rds)

Oscar Tovar (2-0, 1 KO) wins by TKO at :50 of the first round over Roberto Perez (2-8)

In the first round, Perez downed with a left to the body and an overhand right and the ref quickly jumped in

and stopped the bout.

 

Super Lightweight Bout (4 Rds)

Juan Reyna (1-0) wins a split decision over Angel Hernandez (1-1, 1 KO) - Judges scored the bout 39-37

Hernandez, 39-37 Reyna, 39-37 Reyna.

 

Super Welterweight Bout (6 Rds)

Jermell Charlo (15-0, 7 KOs) wins a unanimous decision over Larry Smith (9-4, 5 KOs) - Judges scored

the bout 60-54, 59-55, 59-55 for Charlo.
