- Press Release by Ian Dean and Cagewarriors.com with a little editing from us (color, highlights, etc...)

The Cagewarriors Fighting Championship (CWFC) brand is one of the UK’s leading professional mixed

martial arts events and was established in the summer of 2002, by the CWFC President Dougie Truman.

The CWFC has now expanded to include a total of 3 branded events, which now includes "Strike Force"

which is promoted by Dougie Truman and his partners at the Coventry based Warrior Promotions group.

Other Cagewarriors brands include "Ultimate Force" which is the CWFC northern franchise run by respected

Yorkshire promoter Paul Murphy and there is also Cagewarriors Quest run by Robert Butler which is the

Cagewarriors feeder/semi-pro division. The CWFC plans further expansion for 2006 which will double the

amount of shows once more.

As well as running MMA events the CWFC also has its own website at http://www.cagewarriors.com which

contains information about the CWFC, merchandise, ticket details, DVD’s and also boasts an in-depth UK

and World MMA news website and forum.
