April 22, 2011

Soboba Casino

San Jacinto, California

This Friday, April 22nd, things will get “Hostile” as Gladiator Challenge invades Soboba Casino once again.

In the main event, GC Heavyweight Champion Ruben “Warpath” Villareal (19-19-3) will face former King of the

Cage Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight Champion Tony “Kryptonite” Lopez (23-6). At stake will be more

than just pride, as the GC Super Fight title will be up for grabs.

Gates for "Hostile" will open at 5:30 PM, with the first fight hitting at 7 PM. Tickets for this exciting event are

available through the Virtual Box Office at

Fighting out of Team Wildman Vale Tudo in Huntington Beach, California, “Kryptonite” has carved out a

reputation as a very strong finisher, with twenty of his twenty-three victories coming via stoppage. At one

point, he even had a sixteen-fight win streak going. In addition, Lopez was featured on the ultra-popular “Bully

Beatdown” on MT V, hosted by Jason “Mayhem” Miller.

Lopez holds an astonishing number of wins over UFC veterans, with his list of victims of Kyle Kingsbury,

Joey Beltran (twice), Wes "The Soldier" Combs, Jason "The Punisher" Lambert, Brad Morris, and Darrill

Schoonover. Now, he'll look to add "Warpath" to his ledger.

As a fighter so used to holding championship gold, “Kryptonite” will surely want the GC Super Fight strap

around his waist, and then follow it up with the heavyweight title. Fans won’t want to miss this incredible

bout, as these two grizzled veterans are sure to let it all hang out with the belt on the line!
