Gladiator Challenge Owner/Promoter Tedd Williams, in addition to his

duties with GC, is the executive producer of Tachi Palace Fights. Their

next event, "Champions Collide," will take place this Thursday in

Lemoore, California at the Tachi Palace.

 

The main event will feature a Tachi Palace Fights World Bantamweight

Title match between Jeff Bedard and Cole Escovedo.

 

In the co-main event, the Tachi Palace Fights World Featherweight title will be on the line as Fresno,

California’s Isaac DeJesus (8-1) and Westminister, Calif.’s Nam Phan (15-6) clash. "Champions Collide" will

also feature the return of Norwalk, Calif. middleweight Hector Ramirez (8-3-1). Recently a coach on The

Ultimate Fighter, Ramirez will meet a seasoned veteran and Coarsegold, California native Anthony Ruiz (23-

13). Also in action will be David Bollea, the nephew of professional wrestling superstar Hulk Hogan. Bollea

(1-0), much like his uncle, is a grappling standout and trains in Las Vegas, Nevada at Cobra Kai. Bollea

takes on a local striker from Hanford, California in Tim Denham (0-1). Staying with the pro wrestling theme,

Portland, Oregon’s Colton Toombs will make his professional debut. Toombs is the son of pro wrestling

legend "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, and will take on Fresno, California’s Art Becerra (0-1).

- Fresno, California bantamweight Phil Perez (7-5) vs. Gilroy, California’s Anthony Figueroa (4-4)

- Fresno, California heavyweight Mike Guidry (1-0) vs. Tulare, California’s Rafael Del Real (6-14)

- Merced, California welterweight Phil Collins (7-5) vs. San Bernardino, California’s Mike Arellano (5-2)

- Santa Rosa, California middleweight Nader Maghribi (0-0) vs. Sacramento, California’s Matthew Jones (0-1)
