USNBC Super Featherweight Title Bout - vacant (10 Rds)

Adrien Broner (21-0, 17 KOs) wins by TKO at 2:58 of the first round over Jason Litzau (28-3, 21 KOs)

Towards the end of the first round, Litzau was hurt with a straight right that sent him back against the ropes -

Broner followed up with a barrage of punches eventually nailing Litzau with a hard left followed by a right,

then another right and another left followed by a right uppercut and left hook that caused Litzau to start going

down - Broner continued punching, just whiffing a right hook but landing a hard left hook that sealed

the deal sending Litzau crumbling to the canvas as the ref jumped in to stop the bout.

 

WBC Super Welterweight Title Bout (12 Rds)

Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (37-0-1, 27 KOs) wins by TKO, :48 of the 12th rd over Ryan Rhodes (45-5, 31 KOs)

- Alvarez retains title. In the fourth round, Rhodes downed with a double jab, straight right combo - up right

away. In the 12th round, Rhodes got hit with a barrage of punches which he had no answer for and the ref

stopped the bout.
