- Diego Corrales

According to ESPN,  it looks like WBO\WBC lightweight champion Diego Corrales will defend his title next

against former WBA\WBO Super Featherweight champion Acelino Freitas. This will be a rematch of their

August 7th, 2004 bout which Corrales won via 10th round TKO.  No date has been announced.


 

- Super Brawl

SuperBrawl announced that middleweight champion Falaniko Vitale will defend his title against UFC

veteran Robbie Lawler at their upcoming July 23rd show at the Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu, Hawaii. Also,

SuperBrawl welterweight champion Jason "Mayhem" Miller will go up against SuperBrawl veteran Mark

Moreno. It was also announced that SuperBrawl will be changing its name to "Icon" beginning July 23rd.
