Super Featherweight Bout (8 Rds)

Archie Ray Marquez (9-0, 7 KOs) wins a unanimous decision over Derrick Campos (20-8, 11 KOs) -

Judges scored the bout 79-72, 80-71, 77-74 for Marquez. Towards the end of the eighth round, Campos

downed from a right behind the head and got up complaining he was tripped but the ref saw it as a knock

down and gave him the eight count (replay showed Campos did get hit behind the head which caused him to

move forward and as the fighters legs got tangled, Campos went down from a trip).

Bantamweight Bout (10 Rds)

Chris Avalos (15-0, 12 KOs) wins by TKO at 2:20 of the fourth round over Jose Nieves (17-2-3, 8 KOs)

In the second round, Nieves downed from a right hook (up right away). In the fourth round, Nieves downed

from a combo to the body (up right away)...the fight resumed and Avalos pounced on Nieves, sending him

down again from an accumulation of punches against the ropes and Nieves got up at the count of 10 but the

ref waved off the fight.
