Team Quest Featured at the Portland Action Sports Expo. May 15,16 & 17th

With the growing popularity of mixed martial arts, Team Quest has been offered the chance to showcase our

talented athletes, kids world demonstration team, FIT and Jiu Jitsu programs at the Oregon Convention

center for the Portland Action Sports Expo. This event will be promoting action sports and highlighting some

of the very best "extreme" athletes in the Northwest. The expo will feature BMX, skateboarding, paintball and

now MMA. We are very excited to be apart of this event and look forward to seeing fellow Team Quest

members and supporters down there to come and enjoy the fun and excitement of the Northwest's biggest

action sports expo.

Team Quest Open House May 23rd

Welcome in the warmth of summer by joining Team Quest at our open house. Invite your friends and family

to come out and tour the gym. We will be offering a free self defense seminar hosted by Team Quest

coaches. Take part in our fitness obstacle course and stand the chance to win Team Quest, Dirty Boxer and

Clinch Gear apparel. Also, Team Quest will be holding it's first UFC "undisputed" 2009 XBOX 360

tournament. This will give contestants the chance to take on Team Quest coaches and fighters in the

Octagon, in the safety of the video game of course!

Marcelo Garcia Jiu Jitsu Seminar June 13 &14th

Short Fuse Comes Home Victorious from UFC 97

Ed "Short Fuse" Herman was able to over come the pressure of fighting the home town Montreal native David "the crow" Loiseau in his own back yard at UFC 97. Ed fought a well executed game plan and was able to control his opponent all three rounds to convince the judges to score a unanimous decision over Loiseau. Congratulations to Ed on his victory and we are all excited have Short Fuse coaching Saturday classes at Team Quest.   Come on down to train with Ed Herman every Saturday morning for the 11am and 12pm classes at Team Quest. Anyone looking to improve their fitness, strength and all round MMA skills will want to take part in these classes.
